As an Agentic AI Engineer at Agentic AI, you'll design, build, and deploy the intelligent agents that power our clients' most critical workflows. You won't be tweaking demos or running proof-of-concepts that go nowhere. You'll be shipping production-grade agents that replace hours of manual work with seconds of automated precision. This is the core of what we do — and you'll be at the center of it.

What a Typical Engagement Looks Like

‍

You receive a transformation blueprint from the implementation team — a logistics company that needs an agent to monitor inventory levels and trigger supplier orders autonomously. A finance firm that needs an agent to reconcile transactions across three platforms without human intervention. Your job is to take that blueprint and turn it into something that actually runs.

You'll architect multi-step agent pipelines, integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems, handle edge cases that no brief fully anticipates, and iterate until the workflow runs reliably at scale. You'll work closely with consultants and clients to refine what gets built.

Your Responsibilities

‍

• Design and build custom AI agents using LLM-based frameworks tailored to client workflow requirements
• Integrate agents with client-side tools including CRMs, ERPs, ticketing systems, and data platforms
• Develop and maintain agent orchestration logic for multi-step, multi-tool pipelines
• Collaborate with AI Implementation Consultants to translate automation briefs into technical specifications
• Write clean, well-documented code that the wider engineering team can maintain and extend
• Monitor deployed agents in production, identify failure points, and ship rapid fixes
• Contribute to the internal agent library with reusable components and workflow patterns

What We're Looking For

‍

• Agent Engineering Experience: You've built and shipped LLM-powered systems — not just fine-tuned models, but agents that call tools, make decisions, and complete multi-step tasks autonomously
• API & Integration Depth: You're comfortable connecting systems via REST, webhooks, and SDKs — and you know how to handle the messy reality of enterprise data environments
• Framework Fluency: You have hands-on experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, or equivalent, and understand their trade-offs
• Production Mindset: You don't just build things that work in demos — you think about reliability, fallback handling, latency, and logging from the first line of code
• Cross-Functional Communication: You can translate complex technical constraints into plain language for consultants and clients without losing precision
• Autonomous Drive: You can take a vague problem, define a clear implementation path, and execute it without needing constant direction
